Summer is here with much work and fun activities ahead. The60^th anniversary saw over 120 in attendance, the rededication of ourlodge by the Grand Master, the awarding of a 70 year pin to Senior Past MasterClayton Adams, two 60 year pins to Paul Jensen and Skip Stamm, a 50 year pin toHal Holcombe and numerous other five year award increments. We will beuploading a news section on this site shortly with details and pictures.

SW Bob and I have declared an end to “Summer darkness” forSequin-Level as our By-laws now allow it and our air-conditioned buildingaffords holding stated communications every 1^st & 3^rdThursdays year-round. We will not be serving dinners prior to meeting in Julyand August and will primarily be meeting to plan and prepare. We ask thoseavailable to attend and offer your input along with the officers. An increasednumber of qualified candidates are knocking at our door and we must be homewith the lights on and shining bright. Holding stated communications over the summerallows us to read in petitions and conduct investigations.  

Sequin-Level operated this spring like a well-oiled machineas all officers worked together and numerous brothers on the sidelines steppedup and contributed as well. We had three “cogs” in our officers wheel who hadmedical conditions and education issues and we have been able to pro-temp theirstations and places as needed. We have lost several faithful brothers to thecalling of the Grand Architect and were able to comfort their families with amemorial service and offering the Lodge Building for refreshments.

JULY 19^th – Family Day @ Mill Pond Park – OurLodge will be setting up two tents in support of this Town of Newington Eventand conducting a CTCHIP child ID Event in the park from 10am to 3pm. There willbe a craft show and food vendors in the park all day and some 30,000 expectedto attend. We will be holding a Sequin-Level family cook-out back at the Lodgefrom 5pm-8pm…….and then bring your folding chairs as we will all walk two blocksback to the park to view the town fireworks at 9:30pm.
